INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING PICTURES FOR THE WEBSITE

1. If possible, pictures in JPEG (.jpg) format (.gif or .bmp are also acceptable, but .jpg is preferred)

2. do NOT compress or zip the file 

3. In the body or subject line of the e-mail, give me the registered name & nummber of each dog. 

4. MOST IMPORTANT... 
please NAME each picture with the registration number of the dog.  Please use lower case letters only :

5. Send flies as an ATTACHMENT to your e-mail. DO NOT include them in the body of your e-mail. Included files will NOT be linked.

6. You MAY attach as many pictures to one e-mail as you wish, but please be sure to give me the registered names & numbers of each dog in the body of your e-mail. Actually, I prefer that you attach as many as possible to one e-mail.

7. PLEASE put the word <picture> somewhere in the subject line. This way the e-mails with pictures are automatically dumped into my website picture folder. I receive hundreds of e-mails each week and don't always read all of them immediately.

8. Email the pictures to pedigrees@keeshondworld.com

With over 63,000 dogs in the website database, I have automated the linking process to make it easier for me. If the above instructions are not followed, then I have to do it manually, which takes me almost 5-10 minutes per picture. This opens the door for  possible typing errors.

If for any reason you cannot send JPEG files I can read and convert almost any format, but I prefer that you convert them if possible..

If the above naming protocol is not followed, I cannot guarantee when/if the pictures will get linked to the pedigree.

I have a very fast internet connection, so file size is of no consequence, I will crop and adjust the file size here.

Please do not zip or compress the files.
Compressed/zipped pictures will not be linked.
